Into the account of work ECU you are right, but there were cases when ignition was not rolled away.

Thats not good!

I got a Mitsubishi TD04-15G turbo from a Volvo. Is this turbo to big for the YRV?

What do you mean "too big"? Size to fit (dimensions)? Size to blow (productivity)?

I think it`s not best choice, but acceptable.

How are you going to adjust fuel system to put more fuel, according to increased amount of air? You need to keep with A/F ratio. If you simply put big turbo and let it boost up to 1 bar, you will got excess of air, exhaust temperature will raise fast and overheat your engine...

I also considered TD04-13G or TD04-15G for installation, it`s a good choice, I think.

I have a Uniq+ piggyback chip to adjust fuel and boost so its not a problem and I have a 5th fuel injector to put in extra fuel, I will just get a bigger 5th injector if needed, this will be done on a dyno.

I have the TD04HL-15G how does it differ from the TD04H-15G?

Most guys here say the 13G will be a good upgrade.

.64 or .48 A/R?

or

GT28R

It`s better check whole maps of compressor wheels than to compare AR only. Turbine side either 25 & 28 absolutely same, but compressor wheels are different. 28R will provide more boost for sure, but for 1300cc I`d better prefer GT25R. But if you are planning to change pistons, connecting rods etc. then to shift the red line up to 8000, in this case - 28R will be ok.
You could check map and compare pressure ratio, it`s self explanatory.

Waiting for new 1/4 miles results :)

ok cool thanks! I think GT25R with T25 inlet flange will do the trick! I am also looking at the TD04L-14T, want to compare the prices first and make my decision from there.

Hi guys

I found a TD04L-14T for a good price. Now I just have to make a plan to fit it. Here are some pics.

Did any of you guys try to make your YRV 1500cc? I mean the 1500cc Sirion motor and the 1300cc YRV motor is basicly the same, I think its only the stroke that is different...I think? What would be required? Crank and conrods what else?

At this size turbine would be better still take the ball bearing. For example, from the VF-series.

About 1500 cc engine from sirion, as i heard the enjn block is a little bit higher about 6mm, but may be they are the same..  I read this info from malasian forum. As the block are the same, ao you can only fit crank and conrods..

New Yaris, New Terios
