Hi guys,

I bought a GT28. What you guys think...will it work? I want to get bigger injectors as well! What cc size are the current injectors?

Specs:
COMPRESSOR HOUSING AR.60
COMPRESSOR WHEEL 54.2MM
TURBINE HOUSING AR.64
TURBINE WHEEL 46.9MM

For daily drive use I still would recommend gt2540.

Stock injectors are 330cc. We are using 380cc injectors from 1JZGTE engine (23209-46070) and related fuel pump (23221-46070)

You should be ready to get broken gearbox and low torgue above ~3000rpm :)

The way my car is setup now on the race map where I get full boost at <2500 rpms and lots of wheel spin I think a little bit of turbo lag would be good ;) I am hoping the good oil and gearbox cooler will help protect the gearbox a bit. I am not launching the car with foot on the brake pedal a lot either.

If gearbox do decide too give then it is time to go manual box.

Our experience shows that manual gearbox is weaker :(

You can change main gear ratio (more) to reduce turbo lag

You can take a manual gearbox from toyota 3SZ-fe engine, i think it will be stronger.
 I have some another ratio, but how much shiping will cost you?

Is the manual box weaker or does it break clutches?

I didn't think about changing the gear ratios! What ratio would you suggest?

Are you talking about the 2l or 2.2l toyota camry boxes 3sfe/5sfe motor?  Google translator is not good! :) Do you have a final drive gear ratio for me?

Manual gearbox breaks teeth of the gears.

I believe that for racing purposes the shortest gear ratio is best

не всегда... обычно на мощности, приближенной к заводской - короткая пара дает преимущество, а когда идет повышение мощности (не обязательно кратное) - ставят пару подлиннее, чтоб не остаться буксовать и не увеличивать количество переключений.

Вот именно, я, например, уперся в то, что на первой уже на короткой паре не могу стартовать (естественно, речь про драг и старт с 2-х педалей при включенной закиси).
Даже когда пробовал ехать с первой без закиси на старте и на ходу включал закись - улучшения динамики не было (относительно старта со второй), ибо колеса моментально срывались в букс.
Поэтому, сейчас у меня надежда на слики.
Но, поскольку, пока короткой пары хватает на 400м - останусь на ней, ибо коробке на ней легче живется.

My dad fitted the subaru 4 pot calipers and toyota runx RSi 275mm disks. I havn't driven it yet bcause the car is still with him but he says the braking is good! He needs to wash the car! :)

Thanks I think it will be enough. YRV is light so should be good.

Thanks! I will try and find the template he made on a cereal box :), but there is no real measurements though. The old man got a good eye!
